Recycling at its best

Making homes out of old shipping containers is not new but these guys have taken this project just a bit further.

Using old grain silo's, their adjoining buildings, old containers and some ingenuity, they are creating student accommodation in the heart of Newtown in downtown Joburg.

Given that the flats will be about 10 minutes from one university and about 20 from another I think they will be a very popular.
