Busy Boy

Clare worked an overnight shift so I was up to have breakfast with Sam and Josh before making up their packed lunches and seeing them off to school.
Then I cleaned out the fire and relaid it ready for this evening.
Made up a stew in the slow cooker ready for tomorrow night.
Made up a chilli ready for tonight to go with jacket potatoes which were prepared and placed in the oven ready.
Made up a wholemeal loaf in the bread maker and set that going.
Following a quick coffee I cleared a backlog of e-mails from a now redundant account and transferred over the contacts.
Next up I removed the grill and front panel from 'Big Red', transferred the VW badge to the new grill and fitted Clare's "Knightrider" remote control flashing lights.
New rubbers fitted to the pedals and the bulk of the contents from 'Granado's' brought inside.
Oil, screen wash and coolant all topped up and the bus run to check it over.

The only thing I couldn't get done was to change the horn, it's difficult to reach and the fixings are corroded - T4's R Us may have to take that on.
Lit the fire, jacket potatoes into the oven and down town to the cashpoint before I had an hour with my Kindle.
Samantha collected from school, all three of tomorrow's packed lunches made and in the refrigerator and uniforms ready as well.
Clare leaves at 6:00pm when I shall settle down for some TV and Kindle time.
