That's a nice house..

..on the hill behind the village hall!!

We're having the roof re-slated on the Village Hall, so I went down today to see how they're getting on.. This side has been striped, the sarking boards renailed, breathable membrane fitted, and now for the slates. This section of the hall is an old house, with the main hall added to the left (see 2nd Jan). The roof I'm stood on is the toilet block on the side of the main hall.. Coming along nicely!

Been sorting out a few things for the Development Company, and then marked out the site for transplanting the blackcurrant bushes. I marked of a grid on 7 x 8 plants, 2 meters apart each way. I've now sprayed off 1 m sq next to each cane. Once it's dead, I'll dig each station and transplant some cuttings I took 2 years ago.. While I had the sprayer out, also did a few weedy patches from last year, and a new patch to plough up this year..
