before it's too late

Time for a major attempt at a relaxing weekend, the world's gone blurry.

A good day though with my university library helper and at Alternative Formats. You might have guessed, I'm partially sighted. I manage the big picture but the small print is, well, small, too small, hence the help.

It looks like a Sony e-Reader might be coming my way. The new one magnifies x 5 which makes text readable. Shame about all the books being in Times New Roman, they really should know better, it's v. bad for people with a text visual impairment - Verdana rules! Ah..errm... lots of TNR or TNRish fonts on blip, but not where I'm typing and now I'm into Firefox, the zzzzzzzzooooooom facility serves me well :-)
