Fog on the Clyde
The (remaining) cranes at Govan Shipbuilders (aka BAE Systems) today at lunchtime in the Glasgow Fog.
This shot was taken from the location of the old Meadowside Granary, which is gone now, whose predecessor on this site was the original home of Partick Thistle FC.
The fog/mist creates an eerie setting for the cranes that are 'living' on borrowed time. I've Blipped them before, and I'll no doubt Blip them again.
As well as the original three cranes you can see another two ominous structures in amongst them. These other portable cranes have been brought in to dismantle the originals.
The river was as smooth as a mirror today.
