Workshop Toys

It's amazing what you end up considering the norm when you work somewhere long enough.

Before I started working in the Careers Department at HEE my background had largely been Corporate, formality over creativity.

I have totally embraced this new environment and a lot of my work is now focused on designing promotional materials and brochures for our workshops for trainee Doctors. It always causes a lot of amusement amongst the more stuffy departments when I start organising the resources boxes for our Facilitators and the toys make an appearance (this morning's task). We have two fabulous suppliers who provide us with scary skeletons, bendy men and monkeys, koosh balls, tangles, clowns, stress frogs, lightbulbs, clapping hands, gold trophies ... to name but a few.

There is applied logic to this fun and the workshops are very interactive.
