Bench

Today was amazingly clear. Clear and warm. Why? Santa Ana winds gusting to about 50 mph or so, bringing in the warm desert air. It was so windy, the bench in this photo was rocking all by itself... Or there was a ghost. I'm going with the wind.

The tree is confused too. All the top leaves are gone, but the bottom leaves are green and lush. Our maple tree has lost almost all it's leaves, but has buds everywhere.

I wonder what's going to happen if winter ever does set in. In the meantime, I'll enjoy the high 70's and low 80's weather we're having and pray the wind doesn't blow any power lines down. That could easily spark a wildfire that can spread quickly with all the dry brush around.
