Long Monday

Monday mornings are the hardest moments of the week - the goodbyes. Tom and I said our usual goodbyes in the kitchen and at the backdoor, then I had to tell the Big Man goodbye for the week. As usual, with his camera-shy ways, he turned away, but he was pretty sad at this turn of events. He will be glad in five or six weeks when the season draws closed. John Prine's tune comes pretty close to meeting the mood that Mondays bring.
