Stone arch into garden of old house in Bradenton

One of my friends came by to get me to share on an adventure of driving along Riverview Blvd. to show her house guest around Bradenton, so we went along the river and looked at houses and landscaping and I finished us off with several streets up from the river that I know have particularly fine examples of stonework in the old Bradenton neighborhoods. This arch leads into the back yard of a very charming older home which I believe belong to an architect and his family. It is very quaint and has some unique details. I am always in hog heaven when visiting houses and gardens of distinction, so this was just the kind of adventure I so enjoy! Then we drove around the Village of the Arts which wa quiet on a Monday and finished up with lunch ast SOMA, always a treat. They had a new artist featured with some really lovely art work and it is always fun visiting with the chef, Dave Shiplett! His food is great and he enjoys great art as much as fine food!
