Breaking Ice

At noon I said to Rick, " Let's go play." With temperatures around 45* we needed to try to clear some ice. Rick, armed with a shovel and garden tool was able to get under the ice and break it, then I loaded the sled and lugged it to the lawn. We had a feeling of accomplishment in the end, although we barely cleared the driveway.
