Cymraeg, cymraeg, cymraeg

Mae cyrt gwddf a bathodynnau gyda fi sy'n dweud 'Cymraeg'. Mae'n rhan o'r 'Iaith Gwaith' i helpu hyrwyddo Gwasanaethau Cymraeg. Dw i ddim ond yn ddysgwr ond dw i'n meddwl dylwn i wisgo un ohonyn nhw, i helpu pobl ddechrau sgwrs. Dw i ddim yn gwybod os dw i'n ddigon da eto, ond rhaid i chi ddechrau rhywbryd!

Pan o'n i'n ifanc, ro' i'n credu bod y Gymraeg yn marw. Pan adawais i'r ysgol credais i nad allwn i ddysgu ieithoedd. Roedd e'n amser hir cyn newidiais i fy marn a dechrau dysgu Cymraeg. Mae e wedi bod yn daith ddarganfod a llawer o hwyl hefyd.

Dw i wedi dysgu rhywbeth o'r iaith wrth gwrs a hefyd rhywbeth am hanes, barddoniaeth a cherddoriaeth hefyd Dw i'n gallu gweld Saesneg o ongl wahanol. Mae'n gynnig llawer o gyfleodd creadigol.

I have neck cords and badges that say 'Welsh'. It is part of 'Working Welsh' to help promote Welsh Services. I'm just a learner but I think I should wear one of them, to help people start a conversation. I do not know if I'm good enough yet, but you have to start sometime!

When I was young, I thought that Welsh was dead. When I left school I thought as I could not learn languages. It was a long time before I changed my mind and started to learn Welsh. It has been a journey of discovery and lots of fun.

I've learned something of the language of course and also something about history, poetry and music I can also see English from a different angle. It offers a lot of creative opportunities.
