Media City

A busy morning on the nursery then we took Becky for the train and Em to Media City in Manchester for an event with the BBC.
Helen and I then had three hours to fill in Salford Quays.A chance to see Lowry's work.NO.Can't stand it.A look around the Imperial War Museum.Glad it was free otherwise would have insisted on a refund.Interesting if relatively useless building and few exhibits none of which had been presented in any meaningful way.
A good view of Man Utd football ground where football was played until recently when they forgot how.
Three hours is a very long time in Manchester.
I am glad to say that Em enjoyed the event and seems to have got something out of it.She did say it was full of men in earrings and cardigans. Never understood the need for men to wear earrings.Must be a generational thing.
Booked an appointment with the doctor for Thursday.Earliest day available.Glad I am not ill and in need of their urgent attention.I like the NHS but it could really do with a little private sector oomph.
