Seeing double

I left the house earlier this morning, so as not to misjudge the sunrise again. But there wasn't one, well not one with any colour in the sky.

Wifie was working at home today, so Gus stayed with her. Which meant I had to go for a quick walk over the Helm on my own at lunchtime, where I found this pair basking in the weak winter sunshine. The cloud was just starting to roll in, heralding guess what: more rain.
