Ball of Light

Definitely getting a bit obsessed with photography.

I spent ages getting this set up by tying a ball to thread, which wasn't thick enough so I used wire and then tied that onto a mop I'd laid horizontal.....

Anyway, this was the result of my second attempt at a long exposure shot on m'boy's light ball and I'm really pleased with the result.

By trial and error, I discovered that a shorter exposure actually retained some of the detailing on the ball itself - I'd taken some on a 3-4 second exposure and they were quite blurry.

Don't worry, I daresay I'll revert to type tomorrow and post a photo of my socks or an orange or something....
