A bit of a goose ..

I called into the park on the way home from this morning's chores.

It was beautifully sunny and I sat by the lake on my little portable stool and had fun photographing passing gulls and ducks and geese.

A little greylag goose stood next to me the whole time - nibbling the low railings - and occasionally my trousers! I put my hand out to him and he nibbled my silver ring too! I even managed a brief stroke :)

I was going to blip this gull (a first year black-headed gull in winter plumage as you ask). But when I got home I found one of my chancey burst of photos of geese flying overhead was actually in focus.

I'm normally complaining about my lens being too small - but for once it was too long - so I give you just a bit of a goose!
