horseshoe weir

Important meeting this morning but fortunately finished in time to shoot 5 minutes down the road to my favourite weir on the River Derwent. Soon back to catch up on the days workload!

The Horseshoe Weir became necessary when the Belper West Mill was built in 1795.
Thought to have been built 1796-7
