La Boca

This is the colourful area of Buenos Aries were the immigrants lived who worked in the huge docks here. They painted the houses with the remains of the paint used on the ships. Not only did they paint houses but anything else that moved, the colours are vibrant as is the area where the sound of tango music blares forth from every cafe and street dancers perform ( for a price!)
Tonight we go to the tango show but probably won't be eating until, around 10pm Argentina time, by which time my body will be ready for breakfast!
It's a lot warmer today and I was obviously confused by the breeze on the top of the bus yesterday as my face is quite red apart from the area behind my sunglasses. This means that I won't be looking as good as the beautiful Argentine women that we see everywhere - well it's a good excuse!
This really is a lovely city, tomorrow we venture further afield on a Gaucho tour where we can ride ( I think not!) and have a traditional Parrillada or barbecue.
