To be home.

I had a good day but it's always good when you get home from work and the evening is yours to do with as you please.

I taught an exciting lesson about who would be king after Edward the Confessor. There were 3 candidates (William, Harold Godwinson and Harald Hardrada).We worked our way through their strengths and weaknesses. The kids were really interested and wanted to know who actually was crowned king. I had to tell them to wait until Wednesday as I had yet to see the next lesson and had no idea who it was! I'm excited to find out who was victorious...This teaching history business does involve a lot of thinking on your feet. (Thankfully I have yet to re-write history too dramatically).

Some Jaffa cakes were harmed and, indeed, consumed for this blip. They were tasty. I hope you've all had a good Monday.
