way station

in this town, as in others, some of the rail road tracks have been made into walking/biking trails. i walk my dog on these rail trails on days i have the extra time to drive there. today i was determined to walk her on the trail, even when i woke to rain. we walked a stretch we hadn't before and saw this remnant of the trail's history.
