Writing with light

Is that what it's called? I have no idea. This was my first attempt, and for a first attempt it's fairly decent, I think. I was behind the camera, while my sister was magically creating art. :)

I'm not sure why, but I'd never done anything like this before, although I've seen it done so many times.
