Beauty in the ballroom

In times of the Empire, Britain maintained a Governor on Penang.
Naturally he needed a residence, and, in the early 1800's, it was here, Suffolk House. Over the years it fell into acute disrepair, but has been painstakingly re-built and refurbished to an amazingly high standard. Now, apart from 'normal' visitors it seems to be a haven for young married couples coming to have their wedding albums completed, in this case in the Governor's ballroom. I hope he approves.
