Seminal Terminal

I was up before dawn and went to the high ground above North Weald airfield to shoot the sunrise. It wasn't that spectacular. A huge impenetrable fence has been built around The Redoubt. No more shooting graffiti and more in there for me and my mates. :)

My sister has flown into Stansted from Pau to help us with our mother's affairs. I clambered up a muddy bank to get this pic. (And slithered down.)  The nearest 'column tree', many of which support Norman Foster's expansive grid, can be seen in silhouette. The terminal is a beacon. I love it!
