looking down....
.....the aisle of Wakefield Cathedral - for the looking down challenge from FMS. Probably not what she meant but there you go!
It was an early start for a weekend as I had an appointment at Specsavers - just a regular check up which showed a slight deterioration in my distance sight. Apparently the fact that I can no longer read food packets without holding them further away from my face is just my age!! Choosing frames took me ages with a bit of hindrancehelp from Lottie.
We spent a bit of time at the library and then had a quick lunch outside the cathedral. It's years since I set foot in there which is bad of me really. I was amazed at just how beautiful it is, hence the blip.
The rest of the day passed by in a blur of tidying and cooking before I zonked out on the settee!
