Blue, blue skies :)

Not at all indicative of just how cold it was! Waking up to blue skies encouraged me to go for a run. Great! Until I rounded a corner at Potterow which was yet to be touched by the sun and the ground seemed to slip beneath me. Ice! Most of the rest of my run was a bit of a run-hop-jog with an occasional Bambi moment. Thankfully I was able to stay on my feet which was no-doubt helped by one of the other Meadows runners warning me of a black ice patch.

Having pottered about and tidied up I went for a wander into town. Although Saturdays are still busy (and always will be) Princes street was certainly much quieter than it has been in recent weeks which was nice. Got what I went in for then had a wee drink in the Waterstones cafe as I had some spare time before starting work at 5pm.
