Scented Sunday

We've had a very cold, overcast day in sharp contrast with yesterday !
These hyacinths just popped out overnight! Their scent is wonderful, not too overpowering.
After church, I made a pie for lunch. Beef, bacon and mushroom, and yes, I made my own pastry!
Russet had a good swim in the moat this morning, so remained rather damp for a while, but she is very clean!
Time to book a summer holiday - soon!
