Still drummin'...

Yesterday I went to a full day's workshop on Samba drumming by a fabulous tutor called Roddy from the Glasgow band Samba y baba. I hadn't intended to go today as well, but when I got home from church at 1.30, I thought about those Sisters having a good old drum and decided to go and join them. So glad I did! We were learning a new tune called Malky Tig, very funky. It's tiring to concentrate on new rhythms and to make your hands do what they're told at the right time.. but oh so fun! Can't wait to play again tomorrow.

Ps if some of these people look a bit grim, it's because they are concentrating very hard indeed..
