FLYING FISH

We went to the coast bird watching today, our 1st of January trip a few days late, but the weather was kind if a trifle nippy on the fingers. We had at least missed the wild waves of recent days. This fish obviously hadn't, the poor thing was about twelve feet above the walkway round Heysham harbour, speared on the barbed wire fence around the power station. What a nasty way to go.
