Sunday: Red Rag

After a slow start to the morning, I took a walk up to our local shop to buy the ingredients we needed for a Sunday roast.  Halfway between our place and the shop is this derelict house - it has always looked intriguing.  Unfortunately, it looks a bit unsafe, but I would like to have an explore inside..........at any rate, I think there are a few more photos to be had there.

It was such a beautiful day today - bright sunshine, 13 degrees - that we decided to head down to the flea market for a while.  We have returned with two small leather suitcases - one each - in which we will store special memory type things.  Mine are currently sitting in an anonymous metal tin from Ikea so this will be a step up.

And now the chicken is in the oven and time for feet up with a book, I think.

Yesterday morning, I finished 'Secrets of the Third Reich' by Guido Knopp, aimed at exposing further secrets about Hitler and the Third Reich.  It was an interesting enough read but I am not sure that there was much new in there - apart from Himmler's secret second family - I didn't know about that.
