Back to the blues

Thank you all for your lovely comments yesterday! Here is the start of another year!

This quilt top started last summer by sewing together some strips, so now I have cut those strips in the other direction and have separated the rows to make a pattern of squares. It is a nice, pleasing mathematical approach to art for a change!!!
