A Hands On Affair

We are a small group who meet 4-5 times a year to drink tea, eat cake and talk. About books, films, how dire the television is .....

It was suggested at the last tea and cake gathering to do a meal in the New Year with each of us contributing a dish or two and to ask the menfolk to join us. The main meal was to be Indian food with a broad outline of what we could each do. Sadly the last minute blip doesn't reflect the food at all, but believe me it was a treat with a prawn curry, vegetable curry, mini samosas, lots of side dishes, and very pleasant bubbly to set the evening rolling. The above shot shows a table full of food and hands.

In the middle behind the jugs is a large SS tray with night lights underneath to heat the tray. This was supposed to be the blip but in the excitement I forgot. To finish off the meal we had a delightful pineapple and coconut ice cream, I would love to try that again, it was delicious, a chocolate pudd to die for, honestly YOU would, and a wonderful black currant pudding that was just heavenly.

I hope we can do this again.
