Happy people!

We talk a walk in the new snow today. Very light new snow was falling but it was also windy. With a temperature of minus 11 C and 8 m/sec wind it felt cold in the open so we quickly took to the forest.
It was really nice to be out, and with all the whiteness around us it felt so light, even though the sun was mostly hidden away behind the cloud. For about 20 minutes we got a pale sun shining through the snow in the air and just above the horizon. It was very beautiful and I took a lot of pictures but in the end this picture of Janet and I got the blip!
Once home we decided to defrost the freezer (-11 outside has its uses!). One thing led to another and 6 hours later the freezer was defrosted, the fridge was cleaned, the cupboard over the fridge was sorted and cleaned, the area behind the fridge and kitchen cupboards was cleaned, a dead mouse was removed (bit unexpected that one!) and several anti-mouse measures were taken. Three loads of washing were also done.
That was both a fun and a productive day!
