trees, rolling hills and shadows

Thank you to everyone for their fabulous comments about yesterdays Blip - it became one of my most favourited blips - not bad for an aurora no-show!

Woke this morning to a sprinkling of snow on high ground, but I took the shap road and walked across the fields to this view across these great rolling fields, trees and shadows. As I stood there a huge bank of cloud came up behind and blocked the light out.

After that I drove up to Orton Crag and took a few of the snow dusted hills, but preferred the rolling fields here.
