ALL TOGETHER NOW: Morning Fly-out

7:00 am--20F
A humongous flock of 3,000 or more snow geese, rests in the north pond at Bosque NWR. Peaceful. Until sunrise. Then, white bodies start to squirm. Honking increases in volume and frequency

KA-BOOM
Snow geese surge above and around us, taking off in 3 brief waves. In less than a minute, the pond empties and the skies fill.

Let me tell you, my friends. Witnessing the fly-out is a thrill akin to an amusement park ride.
