It's a Love Thing

These two normally fight like cat and, well, cat. However, I caught them out this afternoon when I discovered them snuggled up together.

The girls were having a girlie shopping day together and Alex is off for a sleepover tonight so I took him to Mcdonald's for lunch. It was a longer trip than usual as the route I took went via a level crossing, where we were held for about ten minutes. Then when I got to our destination, I discovered that I had forgotten to bring my wallet.

Thankfully, I had enough coins in my pocket for Alex's lunch, so I had the joy of sitting there with a grumbly tummy watching him tuck into his happy meal. I looked every part the weekend dad.
