Not my type
Today was a welcome (and rare) day out of the office for LH, completing a small scale watching brief in Biggar. As the town is such a historic one, any ground breaking works require an archaeologist. Sometimes what seems like a good idea on paper, doesn't always work out like that. LH watched 4 very small holes excavated through concrete and (unsuprisingly) found sod all.
The most interesting thing about the site was that it doubled up as the streroom for Biggar Museum, meaning there were lots of interesting aretfacts around to examine.
