House day.....but a big step a bed time!

Today I stayed in all day. I played all day and chatted non stop. This morning it was just mummy and I. We played stacking cups, tea parties, cars and mummy showed me how to do a jigsaw.

After lunch I had a nap. When I woke up it was daddy that came to get me. He read me stories and played with me in my room. When I came down stairs mummy had built me a new toy box. This one is wooden so won't collapse when I climb in to play with my toys. Mummy had organised it but I wanted it a different way. So I sorted them, all came out and then I put them back in my way.

Daddy had a really nice roll for lunch. I wanted a bit but he didn't listen. So I went and got my knife and fork from my kitchen, he got the hint so I got to nibble lots of little bits.

Tonight I am cold turkey with no dummy/soother. For the last couple of nights mummy has given me the broken dummy (its top is cut off). I have thrown it away before falling asleep. Tonight I got 2 stories, one on mummy's knee the second in my cot. Now asleep in my cot with no dummy. Woo hoo! So that's it gone, mummy said if I can give it up I get to pick a present for being a big girl. Oh what will I choose?
