Winter Afternoon, Loch Venachar

I walked along the road by Loch Venachar to the old boathouse . The day was bright and cold , the light wonderfully clear. The loch itself was flat calm and mirror like and as the sun disappeared and some clouds remained there were some superb reflections in the water.
Loch Venachar, with Ben Ledi and Ben Venue towering over it, encapsulates the changing seasons as well as any part of the Trossachs and the walk along its shores is one of my favourites.
