Healing walk

I was so happy to be able to take the dog for a nice walk in my favourite woods today - the first time I've been able to in a few weeks.
We took our time and I shuffled along, but it was bearable and the shining sun and Jim's joy at being out and able to tear about did more than any drugs could do to ease my pain.
Maybe no Step class just yet, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.
