Road Closed

Sort of early morning here, trying to pick my way into work, thought I'd try and squeeze down the still-closed-signed Newark Lane and past the Abbey ruins rather than sit in the Send traffic.

As I approached the canal bridge though there were surveyors out in high vis jackets and lots more road closed signs proving that even though there had been no rain overnight the road was still too sodden to pass.

Turned round and the completely flooded field full of gulls backed by sunrise was too good to miss. One of 3 shots here.
