Melting Away

It was so hot today we nearly melted! It reached an extreme high of 44c at around 4 oclock this afternoon! For those of you who use Farenheit thats 111.2f :(

Right now its nearly midnight and still a very sticky 34.6c (94.2f) according to my iphone! Tomorrow will unfortunately be much the same with a predicted top of 41c and the joy of easterly winds straight off the desert ugh.

If we didnt have air con I would say a sleepless night would be in order, however we are one of the lucky ones to have refrigerated air ahhhhhh!

This image is partially taken of the reflection in the large concave mirror in the driveway of our building. I thought the distorted view and the late afternoon sun produced an image that might give you a bit of an idea of the intensity of the heat of today!
