Birthday celebration at Rogano...
In 1935, as the great Cunard liner "Queen Mary" took shape on the Clyde, a restaurant was refitted in the same Art Deco style and a Glasgow legend was born.
With its unique 1930's ambience, Rogano is the oldest surviving restaurant in Glasgow. For over seventy five years its chefs have dedicated themselves to the delicate art of cooking and serving the finest fish and seafood in the world from Scottish waters.

Busy day at work then mad dash home to quickly shower and change before racing into Glasgow for the birthday celebration of D's cousin, Catherine. The kick off time was 6.45pm so it was quite a challenge!
It was a lovely evening - the food was delicious and the service excellent. It is a lovely restaurant, and the room we had for private dining was excellent for a group of up to about 16.
A lovely finishing touch was the dish of handmade sweets they served, with "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate on the plate. Delicious handmade tablet, macaroons, fudge and sweets that just melted in your mouth...
A memorable evening!
