Morning Weather

This is the view this morning out of our front bedroom window, looking out over the town to the village if Kilmington with the tower of its parish church standing out in the sunshine. Quite interestingly there is still a Roman road running through the woods beyond which dates back to the Roman occupation and the settlement that was to later become Axminster.

I was excused dog walking duties this morning as the recently returned daughter No2 was up early and took the boy out. He welcomed her back yesterday with great joy but as the afternoon went on started to take himself out into the garden and sat watching her through the window but refusing to come in and it was not until later in the evening that he began to go to her again. Aren't they funny!

Today we will be having others of the family dropping in so I thought I would get my blip done now. Hope you are all having a lovely weekend.
