Bramble picking

We took a wander today on the off chance we might find some brambles. We took bags with us and at first it looked like we might have been beaten to it. Then we started to find bushes, with a bit of careful planning we were able to get to the deep back berries that hadn't been picked by the casual passerby.

At home we weighed our gatherings, 2kilos! Some tasty spiced bramble jam will be made out of that.
