Ben likes to be comfortable

Only image snapped today as I was in such a rush. It shows Ben at rest in our kitchen, I keep reminding him that he hadn't even put a paw in a house 18 months ago as he had spent the first two years of his life locked in a cage on a farm where he wasn't wanted. I think he is getting a little too relaxed.
In court today but nearly over-slept then had chats with Kay over coffee and a dash to work. Got there by skin of teeth, phew.
Was abe to catch the funeral tea of friend Gareth after work. This was the man I described in earlier journals who died recently and for whom the whole community rallied around even arranging a rota to sit with him through the night. Apparently, the funeral service was amazing. He had been very big in the London music scene in the 1970s and 1980s so there were many interesting people there. Key members of the community arranged the whole funeral. It was amazing.
