Light Painting Abstract

I tried light painting for the first time today. I shot in my basement at night so it was very dark. I set my camera at ISO 200, 10 seconds, and f22. I did the painting with a small flashlight.

I then did some editing in Lighthouse and in Gimp. In Gimp, I wanted to darken the gray, concrete background. When I pushed the contrast as much as possible, Gimp altered the colors to what you see in the blip. What I ended up with was an unexpected accident.
