Cake, anyone?
I felt the urge to bake today, for no reason other than I am obsessed with Ginger cake right now. I'm trying different recipes and looking for a really gooey cake. This one is from the BBC Good Food website (Sticky stem ginger cake). I substituted chopped crystallised ginger for the stem ginger in syrup. It was delicious but still not gooey enough! I would have made a lemon icing or dusted it with sugar, but I had no icing sugar.
I did share the cake with a friend, so don't think I'm greedy and ate that much already!
