A Thing of Beauty
First off, a big thank you, friends, for sending my 2-headed cormorant shot from yesterday to the Spotlight!
Canada Geese are looked upon as pests in many areas of the United States. They are our most common waterfowl and they seem to love golf courses and beaches, which irritates the heck out of the people who are trying to enjoy the same spots.
I think people dismiss them because they are so common, but I actually think they are quite striking and very graceful. Things don't have to be extraordinary to be beautiful.
Her feathers are gorgeous close up.
