Hotel de Ville, Limoges

I know its rather late to be posting Christmas lights, but I thought the building looked so beautiful, and in any case its all I got today. We are currently heading down to Toulouse. Roger has business there on Monday and Tuesday and he suggested I went with him - I didnt take too much persuading! We left home shortly before 4pm and had picked Limoges as a suitable destination to spend the night. Our hotel is quite close to the center so once we had checked in, we walked into the center to find something to eat. The lady at reception was very helpful and gave us a map and suggested a good bistro. We had passed the impressive hotel de ville as we were driving in, and it wasnt far out of our way as we were walking, so we went there first and took some pictures then continued to the restaurant. We got there just at the right time as there were a few tables available, but by the time we left it had filled up. After dinner we walked around a bit more, past the striking market hall, a wonderful mural and a couple of nicely illuminated churches, before returning to the hotel. Now its time to get some sleep, so goodnight everyone, and have a great weekend!
