Homeward Bound

After leaving Rio we prepared ourselves for 40 hours in transit. About 20 hours into this journey, sleep deprived and confined to the airport, my lovely Damian reminded me that I needed to take a photo for back blipping purposes. To be honest, I wasn't feeling very enthused after about 4 hours of restless sleep in Santiago airport under fluorescent lights, so I took this shot of my boarding pass. A symbol of a trip of a lifetime coming to an end, returning home and beginning 2014 with a renewed energy for life and all it has to offer.
