Poo Picking!

Surprisingly the rain had cleared by mid morning and i was able to start planting my bare rooted redcurrants and blackcurrants. Apart from digging some quite large holes, I treated each bush to two buckets of donkey poo, one bucketful mixed in with the earth, the second on the top as a mulch.
The donkeys were soaking up the sun after a rather rough night and barely gave me a glance as I poo picked! All the manure for the vegetable garden comes from the donkeys, so they do have a few functions about the place, thanks guys!
I was trying to keep my own shadow out of the picture and didn't notice the fence post shadow!
